THE ARTWORK

Maëva Le Roux’s artwork delves into three key themes:
a concern for our endangered ecosystem,
a visual exploration of complex scientific concepts,
and an invitation to broaden perspectives beyond cultural boundaries.

Through vibrant compositions, viewers are encouraged to reconsider their perspectives, contemplate cosmic questions, and recognize the shared humanity amidst the vast forces of the universe.

The first theme of this work is its sensitivity toward our ecosystem in crisis. The painting seeks to raise awareness by highlighting a possible harmonious relationship between nature and culture.
These spheres, which tend to oppose each other, here meet
and weave a balance through foliage patterns and impressionistic touches.

Another concern of the artist is tied to scientific quests. Indeed, this artistic work attempts to solve the difficulty of projecting abstract concepts such as the principle of entropy, quantum physics, or obscure celestial objects, especially black holes.

Thirdly, this art is an invitation to travel that allows the viewers to relativize their perceptions anchored in sociocultural contexts.
Through new compositions, the artist questions fixed points of view.
Indeed, keeping an open mind is necessary for adaptation and finding solutions in a fluid environment. The high contrast in color translates
this tension at the crossroads of worlds.

It is a creative impulse that leads the adventurer on a quest for greater wisdom, on fundamental questions dealing with the cosmos and chaos.
It is an initiation to better glimpse what unites humanity, which resides
in an interstellar space governed by massive forces and in perpetual motion.
