Notes from the artist

Nature is seen as immutable, something that has always existed. However, Slavoj Žižek warns that, as if it came with postmodernism, the philosophy of deconstruction extends to our nature, which is now threatened and unstable. This obscure reality was captured by a woman scientist who captured the outlines of a black hole for the first time.
Figurative representation therefore remains necessary. Particularly, for scientific quests that leave a great deal to the imagination.
Abstract art and its desire for pure harmonious forms to provide serenity have proposed an escape from the chaos of the modern world. Yet, it seems that degradation and uncertainty are inevitable if a supermassive black hole lies at the heart of our galaxy
